June 23 – September 30, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, and 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday. Fifty sculptures, showcasing the work of seven indigenous Oaxacan artisans: Four potters with ancestral and unique techniques, and three wood carvers, particularly “Alebrijes,” which are whimsical carvings depicting animals, people, objects, and imaginary creatures painted with intense colors and intricate patterns from Oaxaca, Mexico.Marshall M Fredericks Sculpture Museum, SVSU, University Center; www.marshallfredericks.org
