A drive to the nearby lake to swim in crystal blue water. A walk through the green, lush woods so close to our community. A picnic in the neighborhood park, surrounded by laughter from the playground. A speedy trip down the bike trail, taking in the sights and sounds of nature.
It’s all a sign of summer, a time when we’re able to shake off the snow, ice, and cold of our too familiar, and sometimes too long, winter and bask in the glow of bright golden sun rays shining down on the innate beauty throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.
There’s the Children’s Zoo at Celebration Square in Saginaw or Dow Gardens in Midland. Maybe it’s a walk on the river in Bay City or taking a stroll through downtown Mt. Pleasant with a quick stop at the farmers market.
We want to know! Where in the GLBR do you like to go in the warm breezes of sunny summer?
