Chef Daniel Najera is a graduate of Schoolcraft College’s culinary program and is currently the executive chef of residential dining at Saginaw Valley State University. Before joining SVSU, he began his culinary career at the Ritz Carlton in Dearborn, then served as executive chef at Northwood University, St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, and the University of Michigan-Flint. Chef Najera was born and raised in the Great Lakes Bay region and is proud to call it home. Enjoy his spicy twist on avocado toast!
